Where to Play Dumb and Dumber
Dumb and Dumber RTP and Wagering
Dumb and Dumber’s new iteration—Route to Riches—continues the trend of below-average specs. In specific situations, that 10,000x max win could be a lifesaver, but let us face it, you are not hitting that anytime soon.
With 5 reels, 4 rows, 20 paylines, and a medium/high volatility, it is a standard slot game by all means. Nothing stands out here. On top of that, there are three RTP variants. Somehow, all three of them are lower than the industry average. And this is a game released in 2025.
The variants are 92%, 93%, and 95%. If an online casino is not running the 95% variant (which is already poor in my opinion), this game is simply unplayable.
Dumb and Dumber Symbols and Audio & Video Design
Well, as one would expect, the whole goofy vibe is kept intact in the game. Similar visuals, similar symbols, and an overall underwhelming presentation in terms of sound and visuals. The animations are jumpy (literally), and the colours are vibrant enough.
The game is inspired by the 1994 Hollywood film Dumb and Dumber that featured Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. The film has kind of a cult appeal and an overall excellent rating. But we are not here to review the film, of course.
The slot game sure follows the theme, but it does not look realistic enough. A lot of game studios make branded slot games. The key distinction, lately, has been a true representation of the characters and themes. Blueprint Gaming fails in replicating that with its underdone 2D graphics and the inability to set the correct mood.
The symbols include callbacks to the film, such as a burger and stacks of cash. The overall look and feel is not detailed enough for a modern slot game, but that is kind of how Blueprint Gaming does it.
Below is the paytable of all the symbols in the slot game:

Looking at that huge divergence, it feels more like a high volatility slot. Even if it was, the lower RTP and a 10,000x max win potential do not really make it an attractive slot game from any angle.
Dumb and Dumber Mobile Features
The game is lightweight—featuring simple graphics, little animation, and plain interactivity. Plus, it is built on HTML5 technology. As such, it is an excellent example of a game that works just as well on mobile devices as it would in a desktop/laptop web browser.
The arrangement of the various menus and controls on smaller screens is elegant. You can tap the various buttons, check the information, change your coin size, etc., with a lot of ease.
Dumb and Dumber Bonus Features
The key feature is cash collection in the game. There are other bonuses as well; let us cover each of these individually.
Cash Collect
Landing 3 Scatter symbols (symbol with BONUS written on it) on reels 2, 3, and 4 triggers this mechanic. The cash collect symbol becomes active when you enter this round. If you are not aware of how cash collection rounds work, here is a brief summary:
- Symbols carry cash values. These are unrealised values.
- In any spin where you also land a cash collector symbol, it “collects” all the cash values from symbols.
In this case, the Cash Collector symbol(s) in reel 1 and/or 5 will collect the cash values attached to all symbols across all the reels. While this happens, the cash collector expands to cover the reel.
Cash collection is a perpetual bonus here, which makes it slightly more rewarding than a typical cash collection round. What this means is that it affects some out-of-bonus progress that stays sticky.
This progress is for the “trail,” paying homage to the film.
The further along you go on the trail, the more bonuses you will unlock, including Collect, Lock & Collect, Win Stepper, Cash Match, and Super Collect. Both characters have their own trails.
Road Trip Bonuses
When you enter the Road Trip bonus, you will get three spins. Cash prizes and various possible upgrades become eligible during this bonus. The spins are reset back to three when you land a cash prize, Upgrade, or Road Open symbol anywhere on the reels.
Additionally, the Road Open symbol also unlocks an extra row (maximum 3). The Golden Mutt Cutts symbol will reveal upgrades during this bonus.
- Route to Riches Bonus: The Revealing the Route to Riches symbol awards the Route to Riches bonus (once the bonus round has ended). Any coin stacks collected get added to the total win. Harry and Lloyd drive off into the sunset, and the bonus ends.
- Pull Over Harry!: This one is random. You can get this during any spin, and it can award one of the two modifiers:
- Bonus Boost: Additional bonus symbols will be added to the reels.
- Dante’s Inferno Wilds: Additional Wild symbols are added to the reels.
Needless to say, if you are lucky enough, then in an ideal world, stacking all these cash prizes and boosts can help you win a lot with little investment.
Dumb and Dumber Final Thoughts
A sequel by all means. But still underwhelming. Blueprint Gaming’s typical style is too loud here—even though this is a “branded” slot game where the main film’s theme should take the centre stage.
The few bonus features and mediocre specs of the video slot make it an okay game. There are certainly better film-themed and cash collection slot games out there.
Kind of okay. I mean, if you must play it, I think you can get lucky sometimes. The bonuses look good on paper. Even though the RTP is subpar, if you can get the bonuses and cash prizes stacked just the right way, you can have some big wins with little investment. However, if your only plan is to put money in, spin, get money out, then there are better slot games.
