Ice Wolf 2 Symbols and Audio & Video Design
While Ice Wolf had an outdoor setting with a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains, this sequel takes you deep into a frozen cavern instead. A Viking longship is encased in ice, along with most of the playing area. Epic, cinematic music gives the game a dramatic feel.
The top four rows are locked at the start of the slot game, but you can reveal them as you play. Symbols are largely the same as in the first slot: axes, shields, golden animals, and royals. They don’t pay much without multipliers, though. The top prize, featuring a golden wolf, pays just 5x your bet for 6.

Respin Mode
The reels are split into three sections: the main 6x3 area, the feature row at the very top, and the ice section in the middle. The feature row and ice section are locked initially.
However, creating winning combinations will trigger the Respin mode, clear frozen positions, and expand the playing area. There are a maximum of seven rows on each reel and 100,842 chances to win.
When the Respin mode ends, the feature row and ice section will freeze over again.
Howling Wolf Feature
The Howling Wolf symbol will remove ice from an adjacent area and increase the multiplier of affected Wilds.
Ice Wolf Feature
Landing an Ice Wolf symbol triggers the Wolf Den feature: a wolf sprints across a reel to clear ice from it. Those symbols will transform into Wild symbols, and Wilds already on the reels will receive a multiplier boost.
Golden Wolf Feature
If the Golden Wolf symbol appears on the feature row, it will clear the ice on its own reel and two adjacent ones. Cleared symbols turn into Wilds and may have multipliers.
Ice Wolf 2 Final Thoughts
Ice Wolf 2 is an improvement on the original game, with a much bigger max win and more polished graphics. Unlocking extra positions and more chances to win helps this stand out from more basic slots with a similar theme. Watching more areas open up and activating symbols on the feature row creates a sense of progression as you play, too.
However, the below-average RTP and low symbol values should be noted. Additionally, inexperienced players may feel intimidated by the variety of features and the multiple grid sections.
