Landing three, four, or five identical symbols across adjacent reels will trigger a payout. Special symbols can land and activate the Free Spins feature instead of awarding prizes.

This game has a similar design to the original Raptor, and it looks fantastic. You’ll see five exciting dino symbols on the reels, and the fast-paced music gives the game a dynamic feel. Dino calls and roars trigger at times, usually when you create a winning combination or land a Wild symbol.
But as the symbol values are small, wins may not amount to much without bonus features to give them a boost. For example, the Orange Dino may be the top standard symbol, but it only awards 3x your bet for 5. The special Scatter, though, pays the highest win of 5x your bet for 5.

Whenever you land an Avalanche win, a Wild lands in one of the winning positions before the rest of the empty spots are filled.
DoubleMax Multiplier
The DoubleMax multiplier next to the reels starts at x1 but doubles each time you achieve an Avalanche win. However, the multiplier resets after each non-winning spin or Avalanche in the base game. The maximum DoubleMax multiplier available is x2,048.
Free Spins with Expanding Reels
Land three Scatters to unlock the Free Spins feature. During the bonus round, landing three or more Scatters triggers the Reel Expansion feature and expands the playing area. But the number of spins and extra positions awarded depends on how many Scatters you match:
- 3 Scatters – 5 free spins on a 5x3 grid
- 4 Scatters – 15 free spins on a 5x5 grid
- 5 Scatters – 15 free spins on a 5x7 grid
If you land three or more Scatters during the bonus round, you may trigger the Reel Expansion feature again if the grid size is smaller than 5x7. If so, two extra rows are added to the reels whenever the feature triggers. When the grid reaches the 5x7 layout, no more rows can be added.
During the Free Spins round, the DoubleMax multiplier never resets.
Raptor 2 Final Thoughts
This slot is an impressive follow-up to the original Raptor, offering the chance to play with more than 16,800 chances to win during the Free Spins feature. The DoubleMax multiplier can increase the size of your prizes nicely with consecutive winning Avalanches, potentially boosting payouts up to 9,493x your bet.
But despite these strengths, the game has a couple of issues. Specifically, the low symbol values and high volatility can make it hard to land some of the more generous wins. And depending on the casino you choose, the RTP could be as low as 94%.
