Where to Play Gold Blitz
Gold Blitz RTP and Wagering
The Gold Blitz slot is played on 6 reels and 4 rows. To make it more interesting, it has connections on consecutive reels that allow you to win in 4,096 ways instead of the traditional payline count. This means that as long as there are three connecting symbols on adjacent reels you can trigger a win.
The wager amount is set between 20 cents to 50 pounds. Gold Blitz has an advertised RTP of 96%. However, it is important to note that this is just a theoretical number which is created from thousands of simulations. It does not mean that you are guaranteed to get this amount back while you play. The potential maximum win is 5,000x your wager. This is nothing special, however, what makes this stand out from other slot games is that you can trigger this max win from the base game rather than the bonus game. Gold Blitz slot is also rated as having a high volatility.
While none of the mechanics are unique, the implementation within this slot does make it stand out from similar slot games. Being able to trigger the max win within the base game is not something you will find on other slot games. Also, the 4096 ways to win mechanic is different from other games in that it is not a cluster mechanic and it is not a traditional payline. However, I personally found it hard to follow as it is not something I am used to. I would have found it more helpful if there was more information about this in the game file.
Gold Blitz Symbols and Audio & Video Design
The game is full of symbols that allow you to make a winning combination with 3 or more of them. Its lower-paying symbols are 9, 10, J, Q K, and A, the standard ‘royal’ symbols. Landing a five-of-a-kind with these symbols will reward you with 1-1.5x your wager.
Now, Gold Blitz’s higher-paying symbols are the horseshoe, bell, coins, gold bar, and dollar sign. Although typical, these symbols will lead to 2-5x your wager in a five-of-a-kind land that includes one of them. There are also wild symbols that work as a substitute for most other symbols. The Wild symbol only appears on reels 2 through 6 on the base game. In the free spin bonus game, the Wild symbol will only appear in the middle reels, 2, 3, and 4.
The scatter symbol is the red orb with BONUS written on it. This symbol triggers a bonus feature and a payout if you manage to land three or more of them on the reels.

I will discuss the scatter symbol and the different bonus games in more detail below.
The Collect symbol, a thunderbolt, only appears on reel 1 or 6 in the base game and in the Gold Blitz bonus round. If you trigger the collect symbol you can then collect any Cash symbols that appear on the reels including any jackpots.
Gold Blitz has a bright blue background with white tapering lines that create an illusion of fast motion. The game is filled with thunderbolts in the same gold colour as the slot itself. I found it to be a bit too flashy and busy, but it does fit in with the over the top gaudy theme. The background music is a sweet flowing guitar riff, which seems out of place compared to the flashy visuals.

Gold Blitz Final Thoughts
The Gold Blitz theme and payouts are nothing special but some of the game mechanics give it some replayability. What I especially liked about this slot game was that you do not need to trigger a bonus round in order to get the potential max win. This is not common among slot games. Also, it is refreshing that you have the option to choose your bonus game once you trigger them with the scatter symbols. I think more slot games should give players the choice between bonus games. Taking all that into consideration I would award this slot a 6.5 because it does not stand out enough from the other slot games that also offer three jackpots.
