Air Ace Bonus
Land three aeroplane scatters on the reels to trigger the Air Ace Free Spins round. You’ll join Hugo as he takes to the skies in his plane, soaring over the lake below. The game begins with one life and up to 20 spins, and any heart balloons that Hugo hits will give you an extra life. If he hits an air mine, you’ll lose a life. Multipliers can also be won during this round, which will be randomly applied to the reels.

Underwater Adventure Bonus
The Underwater Adventure bonus game can be triggered as a result of completing the Air Ace round, or by landing two submarine bonus scatters on the same spin. Before the game starts, you’ll need to spin a golden submarine slot to win up to three lives.
Then you’ll be invited to choose from a selection of underwater treasures – for example, the first round involves picking one of three clam shells. The shells can either reveal cash prizes or remove a life – if you’re unlucky, you’ll see Hugo crushed by a giant anchor. Hugo's Adventure Final Thoughts
I don’t hand out the ‘exceptional’ rating lightly, but Hugo’s Adventures is a slot that is deserving of this accolade. Even if you weren’t aware of Hugo before this game, it provides an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in his world. The Air Race bonus has a unique design, and the ability to win lives (or potentially hit air mines) keeps things exciting. The maximum number of spins in this bonus is 20, which is pretty generous by all standards.
The fact that the Air Ace bonus has the potential to lead straight into the Underwater Adventure game is also appealing, and the opportunity to meet ‘big boss’ Don Croco in the final round of the underwater game makes it feel like an old-school computer game.
The maximum prize of 5,000x your bet is quite reasonable, and the RTP of 96.53% is also not to be sniffed at. All in all, Hugo’s Adventure is an original slot game that offers lots of opportunities to be interactive, just like the TV show it is based on. It seems like Play’n GO has put a lot of effort into this one, and it has certainly paid off in the form of a brilliant slot game that provides lots of entertainment value.
