At first glance Rings of Prosperity doesn’t bring anything too new to the slot table. After all this is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with a total of 243 paylines and a maximum win that can reach up to 5,000x the stake. There is a spinning wheel set behind the reels, but this only comes into play whenever you land a scatter in the middle reel.
We do have to warn you about the RTP - specifically that this can vary between casinos. While the standard RTP stands at a decent 96.2%, depending on the casino and version it can be 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2%, and even 84.2%. Rings of Prosperity Symbols and Audio & Video Design
Rings of Prosperity features an angular that some might initially mistake as generic as opposed to Asian. But take a closer look and you’ll recognise all the familiar elements in the background, with the green mountains complete with pink plum blossom and the stylised pagoda holding the game’s reels.
The symbols on the reels bring more of an Asian flair to the proceedings. You’ll find pots on purple, red, and green, together with a golden bonsai tree, a gold ingot in the Chinese style, and the familiar A, K, Q, and J card royals. The wild is shaped after a gate and can substitute for all of the game’s symbols except the scatters. There are actually 2 types of scatters here. The first is the bonus scatter, which is only found on reel 3. Landing this triggers a spin of the Prosperity Wheel. Then there are the dragon scatters, which can hit on all reels. Rings of Prosperity
The Rings of Prosperity are a feature that appears during the Pot Respins and free spins. Land a dragon scatter during these rounds and it will add a ring on its reel position. Rings can be green, red, or purple. Once the round ends the rings transform into a coin of the same colour, with green coins being worth 2-5x the bet, red coins 6-12.5x, and purple coins 15-25x. The values of these coins is added up and awarded as a payout at the end of the round.
Prosperity Wheel
Land the bonus scatter anywhere on the middle wheel for a spin of the Prosperity Wheel. This will award you with one of 6 random prizes, namely:

- Major cash prize of 50x
- Grand cash prize of 100x
- Green pot respins
- Red pot respins
- Purple pot respins
Pot Respins
The pot respins are a round of 6 free spins that start with the triggering scatter transforming into a dragon scatter before 2 other dragon scatters are placed randomly on the reels. Each of these scatters add a ring the colour of the triggering pot. During the pot respins filling an entire reel with rings will upgrade its colour (green to red to purple). If an entire reel is filled with purple reels and you land another dragon scatter on it then you get an extra cash prize worth 100x. The pot respins cannot be retriggered.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more dragon scatters anywhere on the reels awards you with 6 free spins. Triggering the round with 3, 4 or 5 scatters adds 3 green, 4 red, or 5 purple rings respectively. Landing a dragon scatter during the free spins adds a green ring to the reels, but landing a scatter in a position that already has a ring upgrades its colour.
If a dragon lands in a purple ring then it moves to a new reel position where it adds a green ring. In case a reel is filled with purple rings and a dragon scatter lands in it then you’ll get a cash prize worth 100x. The free spins can be retriggered by landing a bonus scatter in the middle reel, which adds up to 5 free spins to the total. This way you can get up to 70 free spins.
Rings of Prosperity Final Thoughts
Rings of Prosperity is a fine, if perhaps over complicated, slot. We’re fans of slots with multiple bonus features, but here we think that the addition of rings muddies the waters a little bit, even if these add to the win potential. After all, filling a reel with purple reels is worth an additional 100x the stake! That said in our experience the action was hardly that generous, with the medium volatility leading to small wins. Still, this could be fun for the fans of Asian-themed slots with features on the more intricate side.
