Winstar is a slot with a cosmic theme reminiscent of the likes of Starburst, as seen with its visual design. The reels are set in front of a brightly coloured starfield, one where streaks of orange, green and blue cut through a dark purple nebula. The reels are similarly dark purple, and hold the symbols making the game. These consist of stars in white, red, blue, and green, as well as the familiar A, K, Q, J, and 10 card royals. Winstar is a decent enough take on the Starburst formula that replaces the wild respins with mystery symbols - but that’s just about it, really. The addition of the Jackpot King feature does add to the excitement, but the chances of triggering that one are astronomical. The hopes of the big prize might make this one fun for the jackpot hunters, but for the rest of us there are superior slots out there starting with, of course, the aforementioned Starburst.
