Worms Reloaded Bonus Features

Worms Grenade
The grenade in the Worms logo found on top of the reels can explode on any random spin. In this case you’ll get one of the following reel modifiers:
- Banana Bomb Wilds - A banana bomb lands on the screen. This explodes to fill the reels with banana wilds. If a worm shows up to fire a bazooka then the reels respin with the banana wilds locked in place.
- Holy Hand Grenade - A holy hand grenade lands on the reels as they spin. This explodes and adds more scatters to the reels, boosting your chances of triggering the bonus feature.
- Teleport Mayhem - The reels stop before a worm appears with a teleporter. This reshuffles the symbols to bring about a winning combination. The process can repeat until the worm blows himself up.
- Concrete Donkey - A worm drops Concrete Donkeys on the slot, turning the reels wild as it does.
Bonus Features
Landing the 3 scatters found on reels 1, 3, and 5 activates the game’s bonus feature. The round you get is based on the scatter landed on reel 5. These are as follows:
- Battleground - Pick from the mines to find bonuses or multipliers. The round ends once you reveal a Collect symbol.
- Jetpack - A space-themed multiplier trail set on 2 stages. First you select UFOs to advance on the trail and collect multipliers. Reveal a dynamite or mine, however, and the round comes to an end. Reach the Big Money stage for a chance to get the big money multiplier by blowing up planets.
- Blitz Blast Free Spins - A round of unlimited free spins that go on until the worm tied to the missile is fired up. Landing a worm on reel 5 triggers the fuse, and the further the fuse goes the higher the round multiplier. The free spins end once you reach the collect at the end of the use, which causes the worm to be fired into orbit.
- Super Sheep Free Spins - A round of 6 free spins played on a 5-reel, 4-row setup. Land up to 3 Super Sheep to add more Super Sheep wilds to the reels. Once the 6 free spins are over you’ll get to choose 1 of 3 grenades to either retrigger the feature or collect your winnings and end the feature.

Does Worms Reloaded replicate the gameplay of the Worms videogames in any way? No, not really. After all, it's a standard 5-reel, 3-row, 20-payline slot! That said, the whacky random features and the bonus rounds do bring the game to life with actual Worms flair, so it ultimately all works out. We would have preferred a higher volatility game, but the addition of the Jackpot King feature does enhance the excitement as you hope to get those crowns on each spin.
